Arlington Vacation Packages

One working elevator. They only have two elevators but one has been down for about one month based on what we were told by a guest who stayed there two weeks ago. They should have been required to inform future guests of this problem. Stairway was narrow and we were on the 7th floor so we could only walk down. They did not offer a refund but hit us with a $20 per day resort fee. We never used the exercise room but they said we agreed to those terms when we checked in. Expedia should have warned us and booked us somewhere else. This place should be avoided. Expedia should push for a partial refund. The hotel had access to the mall Nextdoor but we had to find that back passage on our own.

Clean room. Great staff.

Housekeeping is an on demand service. I actually talked to the housekeeper and asked her to clean our room because the trash was overflowing, and to restock the coffee supplies. It didn’t happen. Parking is expensive in Seattle. The valet parking is $50 a night. It’s a bit of a walk to self park. Ladro Cafe is the nearby coffee shop. They have pastries, but don’t open until 7 am. There was instant coffee in the room, but with no housekeeping service we didn’t have any supplies on day two. Otherwise, the 1918 building was nice. I chose it because of its proximity to sites I wanted to see.
