⭐️⭐️ Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The room was not as clean as I expected, and there was significant noise coming from the room above the bedroom, including heavy walking and what sounded like a shower running, which made it difficult to rest. The TV in the room was also not operational, which was another inconvenience. What made the experience worse was the interaction with the front concierge. I found their attitude rude and disrespectful when I brought up my concerns. I expect basic cleanliness, working amenities, and courteous customer service when staying at a hotel. Overall, this was not the comfortable or pleasant stay I had expected.

Not exactly pet friendly. Yes they accept pets but the outside potty areas are in poor condition, grass was sparse and lots of dirt areas, also tons of pokey weeds that my big dogs were not happy stepping on. Mold in my shower and closet door was broken. Ice machine on 2nd floor also broken. Staff said on my departure that yes things are broken they start 11/6 til June 2027 floor by floor renovation. Staff were very nice but glad it was only a 1 night stay. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you!

We were at the Holiday Inn Normal- Bloomington Hotel for 1 night. We had a Scholarship Award Ceremony to attend at Illinois State University. Our checking in was smooth, and quick. We were disappointed that their was no Business Center with computers, but the front desk staff person accommodated are needs. The rooms were clean, modern, and nice amenities. The was no Hot Tub, although there's space for one. It would be a plus to the guests. The pool was very clean & moderate temperature. Very relaxing along with exercise room. The breakfast was really good. Hats off to the chef who cooks the potatoes. You can dine (not a buffet, or self-service)in, or room service. Will definitely stay again!

They do not accept Expedia. If you make a reservation with Expedia and pay for it, that's too bad, as they won't accept it and you'll have to pay again and then go back and deal with Expedia. "Not our problem." I basically paid $10 more for the night than what I was quoted via Expedia. Was I scammed? How would I ever know. No ice machine. Rooms were clean but dated. The toilet seat was loose, and the TP holder had fallen off the wall. People were talking in the hallway late at night.

Everything was great!
