In a word, this place is a dump. First off the entire hotel smells like the pool. Everything seemed to have stains on it from the carpets to the walls. The furniture in my room was falling apart and the shower head leaked like crazy. The ancient AC unit in the room mostly worked fine albeit it was incredibly loud. Oh, and unlike the listing states there is no restaurant. Don’t bother - stay elsewhere.

Tim at the front desk was excellent. He gave us lots of great information about sites to visit in Newport. Paula was excellent as well. She moved us quickly from room 200 which has a lot of street noise and was also great to work with.

Great room and pool area was wonderful.
