The room was appalling. The carpet was beyond disgusting to the point we didn’t feel comfortable with bare feet. It smelled like sweat and the air was stale and moist. The air conditioner was so loud it made it almost impossible to sleep through the night. The closet had the most disgusting smell and the microwave was rusted. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the pools and beach were very nice. The food at the pool restaurant was good but pretty pricey. The pool bathrooms were also very disgusting. There should never be carpets in pool bathrooms. It always smelled and everything was outdated. There were no hooks in the shower stall or a bench to put your items on so you had to put your belongings on another gross wet smelly carpet. The hotel has potential but needs updating and other items need to be addressed.
