The hotel is pretty large and a good part of it is not used since there is not a lot of demand for this kind of hotel in Decatur. It's a little sad because it has so much potential. Despite this, the amenities overall were pretty nice. The fitness room was a good size for several people to workout at the same time. There is only 1 treadmill though, so this was a bit of a challenge. The facilities were fairly clean and the breakfast was ok. The breakfast had some fruit cups, some fresh fruit, waffles, sausages, eggs, and sometimes biscuits. The kids enjoyed the pool. There are some nice seating areas to relax and chat. The rooms were not grand but were generally comfortable. The lighting in the rooms could use improvement and all of the pillows need to be replaced. The white comforters also seemed a bit used and abused, but not as bad as the pillows.

Couldn't check in due to the incompetence of the staff not knowing how to log in to check in guest. Didn't get to stay and had to go to another hotel for the night.

The bed was great, but the bathroom was unsafe. There was nothing to hold unto in the glass footed shower except the water handle. The lighting at the bedside was difficult to turn on. Coke and water bottles were way too expensive. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of foods. The daytime staff were much more attentive than the night crew.

Stayed here many times. There was actual staff for breakfast bar.
