I knew Expedia had taken the charge as agreed upon, while, upon arrival my card was charged again, strangely enough. Even though I was asked if I had paid in advance, which I reconfirmed. When I complained that same afternoon, I was promised a refund. Before leaving the following morning, I just wanted to make sure the refund was taken care off, but while waiting for minutes on end at the front desk, and I even checked all the rooms in the main building where cleaners had doors open, there was NOBODY around to answer my question, no cleaners, no front desk people, no management, nobody! The building was abandonned as if all were in hiding.... after minutes of waiting and looking for someone, anyone actually, I left, hoping they'll keep their word! Now, 2 days later, no indication on my bank account yet, that this refund is actually happening! A vague apology of course isn't enough! Actions speak louder!

Beautiful and peaceful setting. The host made it very easy to find and order food to be delivered. It is far enough out to be a retreat but close enough to town for convenience and cell service.

Check-in is easy and fast. Front desk is very accommodating and helpful. Free break is good. Very good value. Will stay again.

Room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
