Blythe Island State Park Vacation Packages

What a pleasant location and experience. Darien Ga is a cute small, pretty town. The hotel was right on the river and if you book a balcony room you have a beautiful view, The staff was very helpful, the room was very clean and and roomy. Also my wife left her watch in the room after we checked out and on our way to NY. The housekeepers were honest enough to turn it in to the front desk which we greatly appreciated.

Quiet, safe, many choices for breakfast. Staff helpful.

There is no staff here Zero. No reception desk, nothing. Another couple was waiting outside the front door when we arrived, trying to figure out how to get into a room, with no success. We managed to get into our room once, eent for a walk, and then found ourselves locked out with all our luggage inside. After Multiple phone calls to some management service that could have been anywhere, and three resets of the entry code, we got back in to iur toom after having wasted an hour. The room was old and musty and dirty. This place is a dump. Do not ever go there.

Called to request airport shuttle which was one of the main reasons for this hotel. I was told the shuttle ran on 30 minute schedule and would pick up at 9:30 pm. At 9:50 we had to call Uber. My daughter and I were meeting at the room. She flew in from LA and I was driving (14 hours). We were told last minute that evening she couldn't check in until I got there but I had been told earlier it would be fine. We had to call multiple times and no answers as I was driving. Front desk was understaffed. My daughter was finally allowed to check in...I got there within 30 minutes. I never saw anyone at the front desk even after coming in and out multiple times. So check in and lack of shuttle were frustrating as well as additional expenses. Parking lot was dark and insufficient to top it off. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.
