I stayed for a business trip. I checked in upon arrival from the airport later in the day, went to the room to notice a fluid stain on my bed duvet had to call housekeeping to get it changed. Next day left for my meeting came back at 2:30pm and found out that my brand new make up was stolen. Room was partially cleaned. Towels, water were replenished, garbage was taken out, coffee maker was still dirty, bed was not made. Called the Supervisor and informed the Manager on duty. They said they will ask. I had to go to the desk 3x to ask for updates but the only answer I got was the housekeeper said she did not take the makeup and thats it. No apology or initiative in giving updates even for the incompetent cleaning service of the suite. Such a disappointment for this particular Marriott property. Customer service training needed plus better staff selection. Experience was not really up to par. I would hesitate to book in this hotel again for both cleanliness and safety of belongings. I don’t need compensation I just wish people were more accountable.

Go up staying at any of their properties always a five star experience

The location was great and easy to get to from the train station. We would like to come back next year

Waterside is conveniently located near many restaurants, the harbor, and a 10 minute walk to the GO train. The room was very clean and mostly comfortable. Intermet had decent speed. The things I did not like; there was no microwave, the TV was a small screen (27 inch I think), and you have to park across the street in a parking lot reserved for hotel guest. Other than that, it was fine for two nights.
