What a great find, historic building 5 minutes walk from mermaid quay. Fascinating history, staff were helpful & friendly. Lovely room, superb bathroom.

Bernadette at the reception was very helpful and professional. Even the staff in the carpark as well as the male staff doing the maintenance at the lift lobby were very friendly. The bathroom was sparkling clean, no complaints at all.

A charming old building with quite a bit of character, in a positive way. A very different experience to a modern "identikit" hotel but a much more authentic experience as a result. There was a warm welcome, a clean room and a very good breakfast. A decent dinner was to be found at establishments within walking distance. The car park was not huge but a welcome bonus for a hotel within walking distance of the city centre. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

This apartment had great space and really useful cooking facilities. A dishwasher and washing machine in such a small apartment were useful for a longer stay, although we didn't use the later for our 3 night break. It's really convenient for the City centre and even closer to the Millennium Stadium, although I bet prices for major events there are much higher. Cardiff is a great city and certainly cheaper than Lincoln where we live. Strongly recommend a visit.

Helpful staff, he may not be able to give us information bout parking in the area but that’s ok we managed. Hotel is clean and tidy. Walk to the shops and restaurants is close by. The stadium itself is walkable which is very convenient. Will definitely book in the future.

Room was great. Restaurant was great for breakfast and excellent for a Spanish dinner. The only issue we had was some outside noise. This was nothing to do with the hotel but part and parcel of the inner city location.
