Royal Maritime Hotel
Old room but it was clean. For the budget room type and price, couldn’t really fault it. Is it a new hotel? No. Is it a modern one? No. Was everyone welcoming? Yes. Did the Wi-Fi work? Brilliantly. Was it in a convenient location? Hugely.

Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl
Receptionist was ok but we were booked into a room that was having maintenance done so had to comeback downstairs. We were promised a restaurant voucher for compensation but received nothing. Swimming pool and spa pool were booked out and no free parking as stated on the facts on the tv.

Room was good just what we asked for low floor plenty of room. Food was not great breakfast was not very hot. We had a meal in the restaurant/bar but it was deep fried and swimming in grease. We have stayed here before but not as good as last time
