Bridgewater Vacation Packages

The building and grounds are in great condition, although they were doing construction on a new parking area and building refurbishment. The rooms are understandably “creaky”. TV channels in my room did not match the guide at all.

The view and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable as well, and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Massanutten is always my go to vacation spot! I love it!

Comfortable beds, better than expected overall

We love going to Massanutten, but… don’t waste money on the water park until they’ve finished renovating. Full price for half a park… obviously the outdoor portion is closed this time of year, but half of the indoor slides were closed, hot tub was closed as well and the price was not reduced during this time. Also, the activity schedule is more for “wine moms” to waste time while the husband is golfing. They don’t seem to offer much for the kids. The adventure park is “meh” and overpriced as well.

We had issues. When we arrived at our condo, we found that there were piles of papers and room keys for another unit on the kitchen table, and it appeared that someone had been sitting on the bed. There were also exposed nails on the deck that were extremely sharp. As far as amenities, this would be a great place if you have children or grandkids, which does not apply to us. Other than the pool, which we could have made use of at any hotel, there was not really much for a couple who does not golf or have children in tow. We did try attending one of the music nights, but the musician was "meh" so we did not stay. We had a better time the following night at a brewery in a nearby town. We would not stay again.
