I didn’t like that when we arrived at the property check in was at 4:00pm, we’ve been driving for a couple hours just for us to get to the hotel at 5:00pm, when we arrived they told us our room wasn’t ready because they had too many checks outs that same day, well to make things worse, they didn’t give us our room till 8:00pm at night, I asked if they could accommodate us with anything, they said no. All they gave us was two $10 dollar coupons for a drink, they gave us the wrong room, I had booked ocean view, they gave us amusement park view, they told me they don’t offer ocean view rooms which is a lie, then they said they couldn’t move us because all their other rooms were full. The shower has not pressure, the ac unit is super loud.

This was me and my girlfriends first time here and we were incredibly pleased with our stay. The property was beautiful, well maintained, clean, quiet. Staff was phenomenal and attentive. We plan to make this our go to stay anytime we’re in the myrtle beach area.

Property and All Staff were Excellent Housekeeping is terrible, always asking for towels never getting facial clothes. Come from golf and needed to shower before dinner always having to ask for towels

Not as nice as we expected for the price we paid. Overall we enjoyed the trip but the units need updating and maintenance. The staff was also pretty rude especially the parking security. They seemed fed up with tourist.

Everything was nice, quiet, wonderful area! Beautiful room!

Surfside was a very nice place. Close to the beach, many restaurants in the area, pool was great. I didn't use the hot tub. Staff at front desk were very friendly and accommodating. Room could've been a little more spacious, as a junior suite but it served the purpose. Beds were comfortable. I don't have any complaints. Hoping to return again before summers end.

The breakfast was fantastic, but the room’s cleanliness was disappointing. The floors were so filthy that my white socks turned dark brown just from walking around. No one cleaned the room during our entire three-day stay, and I ended up scrubbing the bathroom and its floor myself. We were told housekeeping would come after the first night, but that never happened. The only visit we got was from someone replacing the towels. I thought I left all that behind when I left home to relax, but apparently not.
