The staff ( a Lead Auditor, by name tag) at check in was a little rude and condescending, and continued to imply that we would make too much noise and threatening to call the police. I wasn’t quite sure why the hostility. I mentioned we were returning on a rain check to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at Busch Gardens. Instead of a welcoming response, he scowled and then gave a bunch of unpleasant disclosures that I felt had racial undertones, “so many of you”; yet only I stood at the counter and we are a family 6. This was Very different from previous stays at the property, I thought surely people come there for birthdays or other gatherings and aren’t unruly. I understand he’s required to give us information, so perhaps I misjudged his temperament… And absolutely he’s checked in larger party. He was an older, caucasian. Maybe he wasn’t scowling and his face is that way… perhaps he was tired. Beyond that and a faulty kitchen faucet our stay was delightful as always.

The check in process was not pleasant. As we pulled up the front desk noticed my service dog with her head sticking out of our cars window. They instantly informed without asking any questions that she would not be able to stay there because of her size. Once informed of her service animal status they still made me read and fill out a pet policy form. We also were not asked to use the card that we made the reservation with that required us to come back to the front desk while trying to settle in after arriving. We also found out that the door on the microwave was broken once the double sided tape they used to rig it failed. We came to town to find a space to hold a rehearsal dinner and to house out of town guests when i asked about the space that is advertised and there is signage everywhere stating this space exists I was informed very “rudely “ “it’s closed”. Well i guess we won’t be looking to use this place for a wedding weekend this upcoming summer.

Easy check in, spacious room, convenient to Busch Gardens. Room smelled a little but it went away.

A few minor issues with the unit, but overall experience was great and staff was very friendly!!

Rooms are big, but not clean enough. Bathroom is not updated and looks deteriorated. Valet parking service is very slow. Location is good.

We had a great experience! The hotel was lovely, and everything was smooth and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!
