We love the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, real athletic gym, movie theater and how close this is to everything from beach to Marginal Way. Food is also great!

Peaceful surroundings. Loved sitting outside our room with a cup of hot tea and a good book. Beautiful view of the river from the terrace.

I've stayed at the Nautical Mile many times! The rooms are perfect for a get-away! The pool is always ready to cool off in and the people, both working at the Nautical Mile and guests are very friendly.

There is no “staff” to comment on other than the person you meet when checking in. This was no problem as they were always available by text. Basically think of the Docent Collection as a high end AirBnB. The kitchen was a dream with every piece of equipment even a gourmet cook could desire! I could have used instructions on how to use the Cuisinart coffee maker. Everything else was in excellent order. The beds were comfortable and linens/towels of excellent quality. I had only two issues during my stay. The maids had left the garbage of the previous guests in the kitchen. More importantly when I went to take a shower there was hair left on the drain. I never took a bath as I was sure the tub was never cleaned. Not good!

Lovely property. Very well maintained and taken care of. The option of pool or beach is a plus. Although we didn’t utilize the activities available each day.. it seemed very family friendly. Definitely will be back but hopefully reserve a bigger room or suite. Charming outdoor seating on the huge lawn but mostly in the sun. An indoor lobby with some comfy seating would be great.
