Rude staff

Check in no one was at desk. Hotel smelled like stall smoke like someone was cooking food. Parking lot was dirty. Room was clean.. room smelled like the hallway. Bed was very uncomfortable. Someone knocking on doors all night long

Check-in and out was pretty unsettling. They took a full color copy of my drivers license and couldn’t explain why. I asked at checkout if they would destroy it and she said no, they filed them indefinitely. Pool was closed. The sign said for the day but it was obvious that it had been closed for days and was nowhere near being open. There is no elevator so be aware if you have any mobility issues.

Awesome little find in Fergus Falls - very modern vibe.

I was there for 5 days and just slept there. Everyday trash was piled up. People gathered at the entrance scrolling on their cell phones and smoking cigarettes. Cigarette butts around. The mattress and pillows on my king bed were the worst I've ever experienced. I won't stay there again.

Kind staff, and while we didn’t go to the wedding, the venue looked pretty awesome.

Dangerous- no protocol or care for guest safety. My mother and I had a very pleasant stay at another Country Inn and Suites in Ohio the night before, so last night on our journey we chose this one. Boy did we have an awful night. The guest next door got extremely inebriated and we were awoken to him pounding on our door aggressively and shouting at 2am. After speaking with the front desk, it turned out he lost his key but was also wandering around without pants, barefoot, with very muddy feet leaving muddy prints everywhere. We were told he was asleep now and it was fine, but we had been dealing with this for half an hour, afraid to leave the room, and wanted to call the police. We were told a manager was being contacted, but we never heard anything. In the morning, the manager and owner Kalpesh Chaudhari said that the guest was given a warning. I was shocked he hadn’t been thrown out! He was at first apologetic but the mention of any compensation made him very dismissive. We had Expedia ask about a refund but he denied, offering 10% off instead, which is an insult. This shows an extraordinary lack of care for guests’ safety and comfort, and unbelievable that a hotel would continue to accommodate a guest aggressively harassing others in a rage in the middle of the night, while his dog barked in his room non-stop. I wouldn’t advise any woman travelling to stay here, it is not safe. After a traumatising night, we are disgusted at how we were treated.
