Our stay was fantastic. From quick and friendly check in to a spotless room, it was a great stay. Breakfast was fantastic, there were four breakfast attendants ensuring everything was cleaned and the food was fresh and full. The location is also great. We'd absolutely stay again!

The Sands
Why was there a terrible sulphur smell in the room every time the shower or sink was in use. Terrible. I had to open the door in the middle of the night. Could not breathe! Horrible experience

Royal Harbour Resort

Never made it to pool. Stayed in accessible room 101...with walk/roll in shower. 1. Needs an anticipation mat. Very slippery is you stand for shower. 2. If you sit for shower...the hand held is too short to get a proper showering.

Unbeknownst to us, this hotel is undergoing major renovations. As a result, the pool and hot tub are unavailable, the breakfast buffet is replaced by a bagged breakfast and there is a good deal of construction waste all over the front yard. Shenstone Motor Inn
The room was fine; however, the property is 'sketchy'. I can only hope that properties like Shenstone can improve and offer medium priced accomodation in an area that badly needs it. With non-refunable reservations, I gave up my $$, to stay in a place that was cleaner.
