2nd stay at this property, the staff is super nice and helpful, the location is fantastic, the room was big, with everything needed in an apartment.

We stayed for eight nights. The staff is very helpful and polite. The room was clean, the bedding was very comfortable. The only thing that gave an impression other than cleanliness is the hotel carpet, both in the room and the hallway and stairs. It is worn and it has been cleaned many times to remove stains. I would still consider the room clean regardless but it gave a poor impression. Don’t get me wrong, I was very happy with my stay and I would stay again. Should you book a room here don’t hesitate to include the breakfast. It was very very nice and the staff made it even more enjoyable. Thank you Hotel Grand Bellevue.

It’s a beautiful building and an exceptional location. But I struggle to see how this can be a 4 star. The carpet on the rooms is very very old and stained, the bed sheets are so short that they keep moving about and you end up sleeping on the raw mattress, and the air dryier is one of those wall mounted ones - which I don’t think I have ever seen in a 4 star. I asked whether I could get a normal plug-to-wall one but I was told no (I’m not the most kind of manners)

Hotel de la Paix is a fantastic hotel; supremely well located in terms of being close both to the city centre and the main railway termini; and very good value. The staff were incredibly welcoming and very helpful at all times. I could not find any fault with the room, the bathroom facilities or any of the other amenities. The beds were comfortable and the late check out time was a real bonus (12:00)! Strongly recommended and I will stay at Hotel de la Paix if I ever visit Lille again.

We staying in the XXL which came with 2 double beds and 1 double sofa bed. The 2 double beds and sofa bed we're separated by a wall and sliding door. The room was a good size and the bathroom clean. The walk in shower was excellent. The air con was good in the main room (sofa bed) but we found the separate room (2 double beds) was quite warm because of the heatwave. The beds were comfy. There was plenty of parking spaces and the hotel looked great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The on site bar and restaurant were very good. We were very pleased with our stay.

Very convenient if coming in using Eurostar. From the train arrival, we were in the hotel within 10 mins. Friendly staff, my room was near corner so larger than average compared to my friends. Very unlikely I’ll be in Lille again but highly recommend anyone who does go to book here.

The location is the best ever. The view of Opera House is sublime.
