Very nice, comfortable

Everything was clean, but the sheets were not soft, beds were not great, pillows were good! Air conditioner unit was loud and pretty ineffective in keeping humidity low over night. Staff was friendly, we did not have much interaction due to our plans and time in/out each day.

It would have been nice to have towels replaced and bed made daily. I had to reuse dirty towels and there is something about coming back to a nice made bed after a day of adventures. It also would have been nice to have vending machines be the ice maker. The last thing I want to do when I want a late night snack is go down to a lobby in my pjs and fuzzy slippers.

The site is under construction and transitioning from Comfort Suites to Mainstay. The construction is everywhere BUT they are handling it the best they can. The desk staff is good, especially Brian. He was informative and kind. The environment was odd (I guess that's the word?). There's the construction, people permanently living on the 5th floor, and Texas Roadhouse makes their employees park in the hotel parking lot. That mixed with the construction affected spots obviously limits the availability at night. We were in town for a concert at Truliant and there was an "elevated" clientele because of the show. I assume that the regular crowd might be a little shakier given the living-out-of-a-hotel status. If you understand that you're renting a 3 out of 5 room then you're good. If you rent a room thinking it's Hampton Inn, well...there's a Hampton Inn across the street. Go there and pay $200 more a night. If you want to come in town for a night or 2 and need a decent place to stay and work during the day, then this place is great
