Connecticut Lakes Region Vacation Packages

I stayed here 3 years ago and thought that it was a much better experience then. My room was clean but the toilet seat was broken on one side. There were young kids running around and being loud down the hallway until close to midnight. The people in the room right next to me were arguing off and on until after 1:30 in the morning. It just wasn’t as great a stay as I had hoped for. Especially at the price of the room.

DO NOT STAY HERE——What should have been a relaxing stay turned into an infuriating and exhausting ordeal due to gross negligence and unprofessional conduct by the property management company overseeing this privately owned condo. On my second day I left briefly for breakfast and after I returned I was shocked to discover that the door code to my condo did not work, leaving me locked out of the property. I called the property management office multiple times before anyone answered. When I finally did get through, I was placed on hold for over 50 minutes before anyone offered assistance. Being stranded outside the property that I paid for is completely unacceptable. Also the shower-head broke off, rendering one of the bathrooms unusable. I was happy to pay the nightly rate but I requested a refund of the property management fee, given that the services it supposedly covered—responsiveness, maintenance, and reliable access—were nonexistent. My request was denied, and instead I was offered a $250 voucher, which is entirely insufficient and frankly insulting given the circumstances. What I received was hours of inconvenience, unresponsiveness, and unacceptable conditions. I would NOT recommend this property as long as it’s being managed by Eurorentals.

Stayed for one night during a roadtrip. It’s dated but we found it charming and well kept. These types of places just add to the charm we experienced in New England. All of our needs were met. Would definitely stay again!

We checked in to the hotel at sunset, and the front desk associate was so kind and helpful checking us in, and giving us a lay of the property. The lobby offers free hot tea and coffee throughout the day with various milks, There is an ice machine, water stations with jugs available, and the hotel store had snacks and goodies for purchase if you need anything but didn't want to leave the property. All of amenities were working when we arrived, and the front desk was always willing to turn the firepits on for us if needed. The indoor pool was always warm, sauna was always accessible, the yoga room faces the backyard providing a beautiful view to workout to. The hot tub was turned off one night, but the next night it was available to guests. The grounds were well maintained, and made me want to extend my stay a little longer. There are no elevators on the property, but there are only a couple of stairs to climb if you are on the top level. Our room had a balcony with seating, and it was perfect! The rooms on the other hand had minimal lighting and the bathroom was a tad small for my liking. The rooms and the property overall were clean and I had an enjoyable experience.

The room was updated and clean, and if I didn't know what the exterior of the property looked like, I would swear I was staying in a nice hotel. Although the room was nice, the bathroom needs a serious upgrading. Also the room had no coffee, tissue box and and decent shampoo. I know they are painting the exterior, but it needs much more then a coat of paint. The exterior is in poor condition and painting it is the equivalent to putting lipstick on a pig. It needs a new roof, new parking lot, a full renovation of the reception area and much more. Also, there were 2 cars without license plates that were obviously abandoned in the parking lot. One of these vehicles had a broken window and was full of garbage. Not a good optic. When I drove up on the property, I wasn't sure it was the same property as I saw in the ad. The ad shows a beautiful place. I felt I was misled and didnt know what I had got myself into. I didn't know if I would be able to stay the 3 nights we booked. The good news is we did stay the 3 nights and found the bed comfortable and the property very quiet. The surrounding area has all you could possibly want. Restaurants, shopping and gas stations. It was a short drive to downtown and the lakefront. I truly hope they can resurrect this property. Start with towing away the 2 abandoned cars and clean up the reception.
