The manager was so helpful and friendly, the venue is massively adorable and cozy, and the breakfast options (including the vegan one) were fantastic.

We had no idea what to expect on this trip never having visited Carolina Beach previously. The whole trip was great! The Oceaneer was very nicely remodeled and modernized but had a chic style that wasn’t just another hotel chain property type vibe. The location on the beachfront was excellent and our room was nicely appointed. About the only negatives werr the fact that we didn’t have a microwave in the room and the gym air conditioner was not working and so it was super hot and stuffy in the room. I have to say though that the staff did allow us to leave the door open to let some air circulate in and the equipment itself was too notch for a hotel gym and all functioning appropriately. We will stay again in the future.

check in was frustrating. Was given code but it did not work. Had to go to the office and was given actual key. Was told that key lock does not work. I asked why I got a code- there was not answer. I got code at 3:45 and arrived at 4:30. Office closed at 5pm. What would have happened if I did no get there till later? Not a wonderful experience checking in. Once in room was clean, Staff was friendly and a short walk to the beach.

Great location, can see the boardwalk from room, close walk to all the restaurants and to beach also. Bed was a little to firm and shower a little small but location makes up for any draw backs, I would stay there again
