Way off beaten path but was worth it

Quiet and relaxing

Nothing wrong with an old building, but some maintenance is necessary.

Being this was my first time staying here it wasn't a good experience. The amenities, well the pool isn't working, the fire place that looks so inviting, doesn't work hasn't in years. The carpets and riped and stained. My first room smelled bad, was moved to another room up stairs. The floor had a stain, didn't think anything about it until I walked in it and it was sticky. The door keys don't work half the time, everytime I had a new key made before I went up stairs. I got tired of walking back down to get a new key. The Internet I couldn't get it to connect in my room and to go down stairs to use. TV channels was challenging to watch because it kept fading in and out made it difficult to watch anything. The manage said she would fix my bill for the stay and credit my account, but I'm not sure if that will happen. I will not stay there again until things change. It's not very clean sadly.

The outside was well landscaped. There were plenty of dishes and the glassware was nice. There was mildew under bathroom sink and in the bathroom in corners. Bed was dirty below mattress.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, parking was easy , and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
