I am not one to do these reviews. Check in was like my last stay, a college student employee doing his best to manage by himself while there was he capacity for 4 check-ins at once. My last stay was the same while other staff at the desk said they could not help me. This shows me a lack of staff = cost savings manager perhaps. My check-in took exceptionally long. My room stay began with a non-working heating and air system which maintenance later repaired. That took 2 hours and the room was really hot. I got over it, thanked the college student maintenance tech. This occupancy was understandable TBH. The morning was way worse, no hot water. Calls for help went unanswered in the time I needed to make morning meetings. With bedhead I went to breakfast at the hotel restaurant. I went to the buffet and was told to stop and prepay, I placed my breakfast on the table, went to a line that took almost 10 minutes to pay for what turned out to be a cold plate of eggs as a result. I appreciate the staff that was working greatly, the manager/owner needs to step up the body count. I left feeling like a morning zombie.

Should list that its under construction

IT WAS FAIR ,BUT A LOT OF WEAR ON THE UNIT.

This is a historic hotel. If you are looking for all state of the art amenities, this is not your place . If you are looking for gracious charm, clean and well appointed accommodations, you will find it here. We had a wonderful stay for our 20th anniversary. We enjoyed it so much we would like to join their membership club.

Can’t believe that this is a Wyndom hotel. It is in terrible shape and is currently undergoing renovations. Why are they still booking stays for guests? We checked in late at night so didn’t see how filthy the carpets, etc. were until the next morning. We would never recommend this to anyone!
