Denali National Park Vacation Packages

On arrival, staff was disorganized. Office place was the same. We were sent to another property about 1/4 mile away. Exterior of building was a shambles. Electrical boxes without covers. Gardens unkept. Front door deadbolt was broken (no security whatsoever.) I asked about security and the young staff person stated "There are cameras." Anyone could walk into the building at any hour. Elevator was out of service. They booked me on the third floor even though very few people were staying at either of the two buildings. I'm nearly 70. They booked by traveling friends on the third floor as well. They were both in their mid-80s. Very difficult for them to navigate three flights of stairs without elevator. Their neighboring wall could not shelter from the sound of neighbors who partied all night long. Staff person insisted that breakfast was part of the room rental. They did not say where or when. It certainly was not in our building. We're guessing that the food was provided in the building where we checked in but it was 1/4 mile away. Trash and taps (maybe a homeless camp) spilled around the ground behind the buildings. There's more to talk about but it's enough to say that this place is not up to code, exterior and security is awful. Firewood ashes were piled up next to the "patio" area. I've attached a photograph of my view from one of the windows. This place should be shut down until it passes inspection(s.)

My wife and I love this place, highly recommend. We live about 4 hours away and regularly come to Fairbanks for supplies and appointments, very happy with the accommodations and the staff is great.

Unfortunately they didn’t have a regular breakfast staff. It was hit or miss if breakfast was made. Front staff was nice. No close by place to eat. One restaurant about a mile away.

Location is quiet and beautiful.

Rooms were clean, quiet and staff was friendly and helpful. This property was more like a Bed & Breakfast without the breakfast.
