The hotel staff was great! Very friendly and accommodating. The bar staff at the casino was not great. Granted a new bartender was just coming on shift, but no one else would serve any of the guests. 4 bartenders behind the bar and 10+ guests waiting on service.....it just didn't make any since. Overall I would stay there again, just probably would not go back to the casino bar. The lounge looked nice but nobody was working that area.

Our room did not have air conditioning that worked properly. I called the front desk immediately when I realized there was no thermostat or way to control the temperature in the room. The room was extremely hot. They sent maintenance who stated that he reset the system in our room so it should start to cool down. He offered a box fan to cool the room down faster, which I said yes to. With the fan, the room was still quite uncomfortably hot, but I figured it would continue to cool overnight. We woke up around 2am completely drenched in sweat because the system stopped working again and the fan was only blowing hot air around. We checked out as quickly as we were able to the next morning. The room was tiny, it’s really not feasible for more than 1 person to occupy the room based on the amount of space. Would NOT recommend, especially given the price!

Hotel was nice and close to the amenities of the pier. Only downside was most attractions are in the city which makes this location not as ideal.

Hotel is small, but very clean, staff is terrific. Room was small for a double but that’s how it rolls in the big city. Valet parking if you’re driving in. And if you’re into the Chicago Cubs, it’s about a 20 minute Uber ride to Wrigley Field. There’s a Dunkin’ a half block away and a 7-Eleven one block away for emergency coffee, breakfast sandwiches and anything else you might need.
