Pros: Great location and a very friendly and helpful staff. Cons: The public spaces downstairs are public, noisy and always full of people. Sometimes it was even difficult to reach the room because of the crowd at the hotel's main entrance.

They make the check in a bit unbearable. While the staff was nice they seem to have to jump through hoops to get rooms assigned because it took us standing there almost 25 min to the keys in our hands. Plus the beds pushed together (two queens) was just so odd!!! We expected the RIU to be similar to other properties and this was a let down.

The entire room and bathroom is small so it's a good option if you don't expect to stay in the hotel for long. The room has dings on the wall and the bathroom shower floor had stains that don't seem to get out. There were some areas that seem like they normally aren't cleaned. The breakfast was good with a decent variety of food. It does get pretty packed. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the subways and close enough to Times Square/ Broadway shows that there are always people walking around late at night. It's a good location if you want to be near Times Square and the surrounding areas and you won't expect to be in the hotel room for long.

Surpassed our expectations! Location, comfort, amenities all good. Garage parking quite convenient. Recommended!

Beautiful room with panoramic beach views. Loved the pool deck and easy access to the hotel from the boardwalk. Quiet, peaceful stay. Will definitely return.

An odd musky smell in the hotel, like a mold. Room don't feel clean. Blood stains on the sheets (more than once!). Mirror light in the bathroom not functional so you're shaving without light. Toilet paper holder broken. Shower wand broken. Everything old and used, dilapidated. Not to be repeated ever again.
