Didn’t like the housekeeping staff to walk into our room before checkout. Hopefully she didn’t see something she didn’t want to see. If she did she got a sight she can’t unsee. Lol. This was a very upscale hotel at the time and should still be. A little more upkeep is all it would take. Shotty painting and maintenance in the room is obvious. All in all we loved the nostalgia and beauty of the property. Would go back. But maybe upgrade to a nicer room.

Me and my children take a family trip every year. We’ve made it a family tradition we like staying at Lake Harmony and Big Boulder and where I stayed this weekend was very nice. It’s very cozy very clean and neat and we had fun. I love the hot tub and will be back again. Thank you.

Handles on the bath had soap scum and the frying pans were dirty. Other than that the place was clean and comfortable.

Clean lovely area! House had issue with upstairs sink, water went down way to slow. Also no hot water in same sink. Could use new carpet steps n upstairs. We had a great time, went to Jim Thorpe for the day… great, shopping, restaurants, railroad train ride. We’ll be back in Spring

Where do I start ? The place smelled so bad. Was never cleaned properly you could see old food crumbs and dirt right under the couches. Things were falling apart and so outdated ! Master bed was stiff as a board . The wifi DID NOT WORK !! I traveled with my family including my toddler and children . Since there was NO WIFI we couldn’t watch a single tv in the house & I stayed for 3 nights !! the last day it poured all day and night and we couldn’t even watch a movie !! I reached out over and over to AvantStay but wasn’t given a solution. I asked for compensation and they are refunding $50 that’s it !! The only good part about the stay was the nice pool only a few min walk away. BUT HAD A ISSUE WITH THAT ALSO BECAUSE THE HOST DOESN’T GIVE YOU TH CODE TO TO THE LOCK UNTIL YOU ASK FOR IT ! I would NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

Room/suite was very clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Pretty setting. The continental breakfast hot food wasn't very good.
