Great location in old town of Panama, close to all points of interest, and best restaurants

I contacted the hotel a few days before arrival to ask about early check-in or storing my luggage. I explained that I had three suitcases and would arrive around noon. The manager responded and was accommodating, and I followed up again on the day of arrival for details. However, when I arrived, I discovered the elevator does not work and that I had to carry my suitcases up three flights of stairs. There was no front desk, just a restaurant, and no one available to assist. I messaged the manager to point out that I had not been informed the advertised elevator was not functional, but received no apology or acknowledgment. The cleaner tried to help, but my suitcases were too heavy.

Very disappointing experience. The surrounding area was dirty, with garbage on the streets, numerous stray cats, and people smoking right outside the property. My partner and I did not feel safe walking around, especially at night, so we checked out the next morning and booked another place. I raised these concerns with the owner, but instead of acknowledging them, they dismissed everything and insisted on photos. I later provided photos of the dirty streets to Expedia, yet the owner still refused to take any responsibility. I would not recommend this property due to the location, lack of concern for guest safety, and poor customer service.

The room was good, the carpets outside were with holes and some floor has food on the floor, the breakfast buffet was kind of ok, the line are supper long to order omelette. If you stay at this hotel while events is happening there is no way you can get a table to seat down and eat your meal. Hotel didn’t had my room ready at the time of check in , my father is in a wheelchair chair it was terrible waiting time. Overall I won’t never stay at this property.

Unfortunately the name of the property was not Yoo by Wynwood. It is P. H. Yoo Panama & Arts Tower. This detail that was incorrect cost us time, money and stress at the beginning of our trip. We weren't able to get in touch with anyone at the property or at expedia and we ended up having to cross reference google photos to figure out the correct name and address of the location. This took us about an hour to do in a Country that we had never been to. We are very displeased with Expedia about this. We still have not been contacted by anyone.
