Fun and quirky hotel, convenient location. Room itself felt dirty and desperately in need of a deep clean and some TLC. Hair on bathroom floor, surfaces felt grimy, towels were all damp like the laundry had run out of time, not enough towels for number of guests, a/c unit had a thick layer of dust and grime and excessively loud, bathroom exhaust didn’t work. Would have asked for another room but we felt like they all would have been like it as the hallways had the same feeling.

The property was such a fun surprise- the neighborhood was a little sketchy, but it was great on the inside and the backyard... Great experience, fun complimentary toiletries, etc

Upon check-in we were given a room that it appeared someone had been using — the bed had been slept in and the bathroom had a dried brown puddle on the counter with three balled-up wet hand towels, and one of the towels had blood on it. Went down and asked for a different room; the front desk employee seemed annoyed by the circumstance but not surprised. The next day I saw her hanging out with friends in the lobby while she was working, so it's possible she's letting friends use the rooms when they are vacant. The shower in our replacement room had a big gap between the door, so the bathroom flooded during showers. Let the front desk know in person and via text; was told they would check it out "right now" but no one ever did anything and no replacement room offered. There is no parking lot, btw, they offer valet for $55 a day or you can park on the street and feed the meter every 2 hours. Ended up being cheaper to feed the meter, although annoying because you can only do 2-hour segments at a time and have to wake up at a specific time to start the process. There were also long periods of time when no one was working the front counter; had to wait a long time to check in because no one was there and no one was answering the phone. Saw this happen on subsequent days to other people as well.

It was so comfortable and uniquely and beautifully decorated! There was so many awesome areas to explore inside and outside of the Grain Bins. Food provided for breakfast was fresh and hot. There was perfectly cooked bacon, scrambled eggs and really moist corn muffins with homemade mango preservers! We were welcomed with fresh, homemade plum bread. Instructions for everything available to utilize and operate were easy to understand. I can’t wait to go back and I will tell all my friends and family about this unique and relaxing place.
