Our check-in was a disaster.long story short, Got into a disagreement with the front desk manager, Nathan. Paid $ to check in half an hour early. Our assigned room wreaked of cigarette smoke. Called down to the front desk to change rooms. Nathan said I would have to wait an hour +. It was now almost 4 check in time. We took our luggage down to the front desk and the agent reassigned us, handed me the keys. Before I could get into the elevator, Nathan chased me down and demanded I hand back the keys. He said that it was not appropriate for me to talk to him and then proceed to one of his agents. He was furious that I bypassed his authority. I handed him the keys to avoid creating a scene. I am confused at this point, waited 15 minutes and returned to the check in desk. The agent had to ask his permission to let me check in. I got yet a third room. Nathan has no business working in a hospitality industry. He treats his guests and staff with disrespect. Couldn’t wait to cross the street to the Monarch where we gambled and dined and enjoyed our casino experience.

Getting to the hotel was super easy on the train from the airport. Literally one block away. The room was very clean and super cool. Bed was comfortable and bathroom had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and the coffee was great. Nice vibe overall but we stayed over a weekend and there was a planned rave party on the rooftop from about 3 to 9:30pm. To say that it was just loud and obnoxious doesn’t even come close to how annoying this was for two older peeps who hit the sack around 9:00. Our room was thumping and the sound was bouncing off everything in every direction. It did finally end around 9:45 so they are somewhat cognizant of their guests . We just didn’t understand why they allow these types of parties up there when it affects every single guest at their hotel. Next morning there was melange of vomit out front… just saying… not necessary.

Great room, checking in was difficult as there wasn’t an attendant.

Just a place to stay where there is no complimentary coffee down in the lobby, or seating truly strange. Swimming pool is WAY too small for going Swimming. It is really just for dipping Just simple push from one end, I would reach to the other end. Otherwise it is fine. Honestly, if you odo not mind taking 5 minute walk out every morning out to get coffee, it is worth to stay at this cheaper hotel. Just around the corner, you will find very taste coffee in a nearby cafe,- FAR FAR BETTER than this hotel coffee. It does not taste better than a simple iinstant coffee. D. donut coffee is way tastier.
