The staff were friendly. It's an old building but very clean. There is whimsy everywhere you turn, which keeps me coming back. The only issue that I've ever had is that the pillows are flat.

Dodgeville inn and suites
This is an old Motel 8. If I knew that I wouldn’t have booked it. It doesn’t have a sign, so it’s difficult to find. I would pay a few dollars more to stay somewhere else. The desk person came out to the front desk in her pajamas when I went to ask for a do not disturb sign at 8am.

Deer Valley Lodge & Golf
We did not make use of the waterpark. But this day was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and everything was nice and clean.

The hot tub was "being serviced" and look like it had not been in commission in a while. I had the room next to the lobby. The attendant had her entire family husband (who smoked in the lobby), sister (who may be a maid) and two toddlers, sitting there for 6 hours having loud conversation, laughing ...

Quality Inn Mineral Point
Very clean hotel. Very helpful staff. A bit dated. Easy on and off Hwy 151. 5 minutes from historic downtown. One thing they should note on reservations: all King rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator. (The clerk did offer us a double on the 1st floor.)
