Bright and modern well equipped 1 bedroom apartment on the main street of Old Aylmer was perfect for a short, or extended, stay. Very clean and comfortable within walking distance to lots of restaurants. Appreciated the a/c as we were there during a heat wave. Would recommend and hope to return.

We opted for the Gold plan and loved it! Breakfast was included, small plate appetizers and canapés and then dessert served in an exclusive common room from 5:00. Excellent service. But the hotel needs some refurbishing and updating. The desk chair in our room was literally shredded. This is a premium property. A wonderful and historic and perfectly located hotel. The Fairmount needs to give it some love.

Great stay, beds are very comfortable! If I could make any recommendation for the hotel, it would be to have adult hours for the pool. The pool is extremely nice however, there were about 30 kids jumping into the pool at 9:30 at night.

Great location downtown Ottawa, easy to access places within walking distance. Friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Tulip Lounge is a decent option for dining.

Dining and breakfast not available for much of the week - check website before booking. No fridge in room. No tea/coffee in room, just a shared kitchenette in main building.

A very nice stay for the one night... Would highly recommend it
