"I liked its proximity to the airport, but didn't like that it doesn't have a shuttle. So, you either take a taxi, bus or train. Taking the train wasn't too expensive and was the first stop out of the airport. But you have to make your way to terminal 1 to get to the regional Bahnhof."

Alternative Accommodations FAQs – Hostels

What are the best hostels in Frankfurt?

Whether you’re looking for an affordable Frankfurt hostel to save cash or to get social on your getaway, there’s a better option in town. Booking a Hotwire Hot Rate hotel deal can save you big money while allowing you to have some space and privacy you can’t get at a hostel. You’ll still get a dose of adventure and fun on your trip to Frankfurt, you just don’t have to skimp out on your accommodations. Or worry about a stranger using your shampoo.

How much does it cost to stay at a hostel in Frankfurt?

If you’ve got money on your mind, you may be thinking of searching for cheap hostels in Frankfurt, just to keep your budget for other trip necessities like burgers. Or brews. Whatever’s on the menu. But no need to stress about cash when you book a Hotwire Hot Rate hotel deal instead, even if it’s last minute. In fact, you can save an average of 60% versus booking a listed rate two weeks earlier. You’ll keep your wallet (and belly) full, and get a wildly good hotel room, too.

What are the best cheap hostels in Frankfurt?

Even the best hostels in Frankfurt can’t hold a candle to the privacy of staying in a hotel, and what you’ll spend on cheap hostels isn’t far off from the dough you’ll save when you book a Hotwire Hot Rate hotel deal. Not to mention, you’ll get way more bang for your buck. Like 4-star hotels at a 2-star price kind of bang. And with deals that good on Frankfurt hotels, you’ll still have money for all of your trip fun, without the lullaby of other people’s snores as you rest up for your next adventure.

Why should I stay in a hostel?

Travelers usually stay in hostels for a couple of reasons: saving money and hanging out. But here’s some great news—you don’t have to stay in a cheap Frankfurt hostel to reap those benefits. Instead, you can save some stacks and sleep in your own room when you book a spot with Hotwire Hot Rate hotel deals. You’ll get a lot more than you bargained for, plus you get a room with your own space, shower, and TV. And as far as those hangs, you’ll still have plenty of time and money to get adventurous and as social as you want on your last-minute getaway.

What is a hostel?

Hostels are affordable shared lodgings that typically include a bed in a communal room and dorm-style bathrooms. Some even have curfews. But hostels in Frankfurt aren’t your only option when it comes to extra-budget-friendly travel. When you’re looking to take a last-minute getaway to Frankfurt, book your stay with a Hotwire Hot Rate hotel deal and you’ll save a ton. You won’t know the name of your hotel until after you’ve booked, but you will know the neighborhood, the reviews, and the amenities you can count on. Then, sit back, relax, and count all the cash you’ve saved.
