Glasserton Vacation Packages

Despite booking 7months in advance we got allocated the worst room ever. The window wedged open with a screw and something like a door stop so impossible to close. The hotel is situated on a busy cross road in Glasgow city . We managed 3 hrs sleep between the hours of 3am and 6 am when the traffic noise subsided. If you need to sleep during the night avoid room 214 .

Property was exactly what was expected, clean and roomie

Very large apartment for the price. 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, large kitchen and dining area. Was very clean, beds were comfortable and it had a washer which was nice, although we didn't need to use it. Couldn't figure out how to work one of the showers, so we just used the other one. We overall felt safe because there were a couple of pubs on the same street and several people out walking, but the apartment building is right next to a homeless shelter, which became very active in the evening. We heard talking & yelling throughout the night until about 3:30 am, When we came back from dinner, the main building door to the street was open, but there's another door that's secured in order to enter the building further. We were on the 4th floor, so we felt safe, but I did get up a few times during the night when the yelling & noise got loud. It was a short 7-minute walk to the train station, which was great for us.

Very impressive

Room was great. Food was good, but placing orders was slow. Food arrived promptly though. My biggest problem is your phone system . I tried probably 10- 15 times to call and each time I waited for the 15-20 rings before it cut me off as none was available . The message "Please call back" or similar message came after the timeout period. You must be loosing lots of business by not answering the phone. The only extension that picked up was the golf.

What a great place to stay! Luxury vibe at an affordable price. The room was clean, stylish, comfortable, quiet, and had everything necessary for an extended stay- full kitchen, table and chairs, quality bedding and towels. The location was perfect for our needs and we felt comfortable walking back after dark in the neighborhood.
