Well I left after about 2 hours of trying to sleep and the non-stop squeaking from what I assume was the floor above

One of the nicest BNB’s we’ve stayed at. Josh and staff were so accommodating and nice. Breakfast was great. We will totally be back at some point. Thanks again Josh!

Amazing

The good: Room was clean and the beds were fine. We chose this hotel because of the location, which did not disappoint. Staff was attentive -- when you could find them. The negative: The bathroom exhaust fan ran 24/7. The seal on the shower door was rotten and mold was visible, so when someone took a shower the floor was wet and the bath mat got wasted. Lighting was mediocre. After two nights there was zero housekeeping, so we had to call for coffee and towels. Those came promptly, but still unimpressive. Breakfast was just average. Nothing that rated more than three stars, really, which is disappointing given the room rates.

This is a delightful heritage building right in the heart of Stowe. The rooms are really generously sized. It's an old building, but if you don't mind a bit of creak in your step, it's a FABULOUS place to stay. I didn't go to the on-site restaurant but I heard good things. Self check-in, if you're ok with that.
