The apt was tidy. Enough to sleep 8. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Parking can be difficult to find. It's about an hour from Salem.

We had a room with a suite which was much appreciated. Beds/pillows very good. Service was good. Since it was built in 1912, don't expect a spacious bathroom; it was clean and bright and functional but small. The room had some cold drafts but otherwise excellent.

Your staff is Five star! Hotel needs updating badly. My far the worst Four Seasons we have stayed in. On the day of check-in, our flight was delayed and we got in at 2:30 in the morning had room service and it was an edible. Your staff indicated they would remove the charges, but I see we were still charged for them as well.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Well appointed and the bed and pillows were very comfy. The front desk staff were all fantastic, friendly and didn’t call me by name but clearly remembered who I was. That’s always a nice touch. Some cons? Parking. They have a deal with the Gov’t Center garage which is a 5 minute walk, crossing several busy streets. However, there is a parking garage right outside their in-house restaurant door. Admittedly, I don’t know anything about that garage - size, condition, ownership, etc. but it would be much more convenient. Also, my room didn’t have washcloths. I mentioned that to some friends I was there visiting and their room didn’t either. So, bring your own or a bath scrunchy because they have a wall-mounted unit with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Finally, you’re near some busy streets as I mentioned. Traffic noise and police sirens were very evident on the third floor. Still, a great place and I would consider returning to The Boxer.
