I had i nice time at this hotel and it is clean quiet and peaceful

I like the hotel. Excellent location

First of all when I arrived at the hotel.The gentleman gave me my room.Me and my wife went up to the room , open the door and the smell was horrible , almost knocked us out then we went down and got another room. First, he asked us, could he just go up and spray some air freshener totally unacceptable? Then it gives us the key to another room. We go up there, hit the card and the door's locked from the inside. So somebody is obviously in the room so I call him he comes up, tries to open the door doesn't lock, he brings another key with him. He must a knew something. Let us into that room and ask me to get the key in the morning, I said, could you please bring it back up. Then we heard somebody leaving the room next door at that point. We just did not feel safe at all. So we told them we wanted to leave, he said, okay, you can cancel and get a refund. However, at the end of the day, they still charge me for 1 day only gave me the other 2 days back. Horrible service, please don't take you and your family there. Not safe.
