Grottoes Vacation Packages

The property was much larger than expected and included a lake. Our cabin was tucked in the woods off of a one lane paved road, with good parking spaces. We had a few mosquitoes in our cabin, and also a spider that stayed in its upper corner of the bathroom. The beds and pillows in our two bedroom cabin were very comfortable. Most of the channels on the TV were a little out of focus and we were unable to mirror our phones on the TV, even through we had property internet connected. The breakfast in the main lodge was good and reasonably priced. Prices in the General Store were very reasonable compared to typical resorts. Looking forward to another stay at a future date.

Cute hotel and great location for the university. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Free parking was hard to come by, but the garage option was also very convenient for a price.

Staff were great, clean and nice room and beautiful hotel

our room access cards deactivated and at 1am could not get into room. took several phone calls before someone answered. would be helpful if phone number was posted somewhere for 24 hour emergencies. maintenance who responded seemed annoyed that we needed help getting into room. get access card system updated.

We picked this hotel because of the English theme. We enjoyed the cookies and tea in the afternoon when we arrived. In the morning we ate the complimentary breakfast. It was pretty standard for a free hotel buffet: english sausages, scrambled eggs, potatoes, pancakes, muffins, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, juice and fruit and it was good quality. The hotel is walking distance to the John Paul Jones Concert Venue which was also why we picked it. We would stay here again and we recommend this hotel.

Great experience! Strongly recommend!
