I booked a city view superior room which wasn’t great, it was fairly small but had everything required. The wardrobe had plenty of hanging space and there was an ironing board and iron. Shower was lovely and the bathroom had enough space to put toiletries, which isn’t always the case in some hotels. Staff are generally really friendly, pleasant and helpful, however some did seem miserable. The breakfast offering is very good with a wide selection of hot and cold food. The notable point about the restaurant is it has a very unusual layout. The buffet is at one end and some tables are so far away from the food that staff clear the table whilst you’re up getting food. This happened to me twice which is quite annoying and on one occasion another couple had been given my table which led to them being very annoyed with me unnecessarily. Breakfast ends at 10 am on weekdays and 10:30 on a weekend, which is a bit early when you’re on holiday. Housekeeping is also variable. My major complaint was that the floor wasn’t swept very well. On one occasion my room wasn’t cleaned at all, despite me leaving the sign on the door to do so. Whilst staff were very apologetic, it did not make up for having a dirty room. Location wise it’s okay but a bit of a walk to any of the major attractions. There are three street car lines within a few mins walk and a subway station nearby. Overall pretty good value for downtown.

I brought my son to Toronto to watch the Yankees beat the Jays as a middle school graduation present. Unfortunately for us we did not see the Yankees win but the hotel was a huge win for us! Upon entering you are greeted by friendly staff and a relaxing aroma that really set the tone for our entire stay. Our room was wonderful. The older I get the less I handle traveling well because I find rooms to be dirty & very uncomfortable, I am the person who will typically clean the room myself upon arrival and I always stay at 4+ star hotels. As soon as I entered the room, everything just felt, looked & smelled clean. I had zero urge to clean (except the remote, which is a habit I will keep). The bed and pillows not only looked inviting, they were! Not too hard, not too soft for my aging body! There were eco-friendly elements everywhere, different woods sourced locally and the water on the entire property was filtered! Room service was very accommodating, one night we did not realize the time and ordered 3 minutes before closing. The gentleman was so kind, got our order to us and even remembered us the next time we ordered! Amazing! So many little things made this property worth every penny but I think what made it even more special was the little note and special treat they left for my son, congratulating him on his graduation! In this world today who does that?! They do! Highly recommend

Clean room, comfy bed. The SHOWER was AMAZING! I was able to wash some clothing quickly before a show. It's located in a perfect place close to food places, and a short walk to bus stops that can take you to the subway lines. The restaurants by the place are also really nice. It was perfect stay and comfortable.

Plan to bring your own towels (unless you're fine with a hand towel for bathing), soap and shampoo as none will be provided. There is no street parking in the immediate vicinity. You may choose between paying them $20 to park or just use the many spots available for public use at $17/night right in the same building. Their communication is about the worst I've ever experienced. So be sure to check-in, make whatever inquiries you need to make well in advance as their team will need to "check with their supervisor" or "check with the cleaning team". If you're able to contact them by telephone (I was only 50% successful), be sure to talk fast as they will just randomly hang up on you and you'll be standing on a corner in Toronto wondering if you'll ever get into the $400 advertised flat that winds up costing $635 after additional fees.

Breakfast was very good, particularly appreciated the service provided by Ukrainian woman named Diane. Room was very gloomy with harsh LED lighting that was complicated to operate. Also, nobody cleaned my room the night I needed it cleaned. I came back and saw that no towels had been changed and the bed had not been made. This was because I had not adequately calibrated the complicated electrical switches in the room to indicate that I needed my room fixed. Whatever happened to good old-fashioned paper signs outside the door saying that you needed your room cleaned? This was too hike tech. Overall the mattress was also not the best. It’s sagged a bit. So the room was gloomy and poorly lit with very very harsh IED lighting. The room cleaning service did not arrive when I needed it. And there was no natural lighting to speak of in the room or the dining room rooms.

The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room (king bedroom + fold out bed) was nice, but the bedding didn't seem clean. The fold out bed linens had a lot of hair in it. The king size bed covers smelled strongly of body odor. We had to sleep without it. I recommend checking as soon as you arrive so you have time to remedy it.

124 on Queen is fabulous! The location is perfect - right on the main street of the heritage district. Perfect location for walking the town! And our room was lovely. New, super clean, well decorated, comfortable and quiet. We had a corner room, king, with a fireplace and sitting area, plus small kitchenette (sink, counter, fridge). And two TVs. The staff was very friendly! I would also recommend eating at the restaurant on site at least once. NOTL food and service was awesome.
