Our room when we entered appeared to be clean. The towels were displayed nicely in the bathroom, however, the bathroom floor was very sticky sounding to walk on it. It obviously had been poorly mopped. The worst came hours later when we pulled back the comforter to discover that the sheets had not been changed. The comforter and pillows had been made nicely, but the sheets were wrinkled, had food crumbs and there was a dirty Kleenex in the middle of the bed. We discovered this late at night and too late to pack up our very unpacked belongs, change out of pj's and request and move to another room. The second bed appeared clean so last resort we used it. The basket with the coffee packets had not been refilled but we were able to get packets from the front desk. I complained to the front desk the next morning. The attendant made a note, took my room number, name and phone number and told me the hotel manager would call me later the same day. That never happened. The breakfast was standard hotel fare but nice. Coffee in the dining area was good.

It's nice property and the restaurant is fantastic

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Booked 3 nights, checked in at 8 PM and was KICKED OUT by 10:15 PM! Let me be CLEAR! I did NOT sneak dogs in! I told the front desk I had my dogs. She NEVER asked how many, handed me an agreement so poorly printed it was unreadable, and ran my card for the pet fee. I pointed out I couldn’t read it and she laughed and AGREED! I OWN my mistake for not checking the pet policy. But I wasn’t lying or hiding anything! Why would I openly walk past staff with ALL 3 my dogs?! Instead of discussing solutions, the manager accused me of dishonesty, swore at me and threatened to call police! Front desk was rude from the start, maintenance was intimidating, and management was downright nasty! Here’s the kicker! My card showed APPROVED at check-in. Suddenly, during the argument, I was told it DECLINED! After being kicked out, I paid $620 CASH ($120 pet fees + $500 “fine”), only to discover card charges too, for the stay and pet fees, I finally got 2 nights refunded. The next day, that SAME front desk employee repeatedly passed my craft show booth, texting and taking photos immediately after walking past and into my booth. I own a business. I understand policies and OWN my mistake. But that NEVER excuses treating someone like garbage! I tried to make things right. This staff chose hostility. NEVER AGAIN! NOT PET FRIENDLY AT ALL!
