First time at a MyPlace, but definitely not my last! Came in with a pet, and was pleasantly surprised at the full sized refrigerator and the kitchen. The beds were super comfortable, too. We hit the local grocery store for plasticware/plates/food, as well as a cheap pan (if you're planning on cooking, hit the local Home Goods!) and were very happy with the setup. The grounds were immaculate, despite a lot of dogs staying there for a dog event nearby, and the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and responsive to needs. Loved the gas grills available outside as well!

This is a secret Hidaway. Don't judge a book by its cover. Very cozy, roomy cottage. We were a family of 4 and there was more than enough room. Communication was amazing and is what made our stay easy! Perfect distance to Mount Sunapee.

Third year staying here. Staff is warm and friendly. They are always asking about your day, if they can help. Valet parking is easy-to-use: in,out or just need to get something out of your car. Continental breakfast is new. Everything fresh. Coffee freshly ground and hot. Rooms are clean and hotel is quiet.

A well loved favorite of ours. The staff is absolutely amazing as is the delicious breakfast choices! Great location for everything we love to see and do.

I grew up on a lake nearby...and Kezar Lake reminded me of how rustic and undeveloped Lake Sunapee was in the 1960s. The Follansbee Inn has true charm and is located right on the lake. The owners were low key and charming, and the breakfasts were fabulous.

This was a very poor experience. We had no water for shower, and no water in kitchen sink. We checked in late at night, got up to take showers, and weren't able to do so because there was no water. We'd rented the cabin to go to a wedding and weekend events. Checked out an hour before checkout time to get to the event--unshowered-- and called the host, who didn't pick up. Left a message reporting the problem, and then we were told that we should have spoke to him to have him fix the problem before we checked out. I asked if he thought we should miss the event to wait for him to call back re: the water? Host Offered a $50 rebate and said it wan't his problem that our timeframe didn't work with the time of when we let him know, then the host went on to say he didn't have to offer a refund and got very personal about what should be a professional, business transaction. Host that I was "absolutely disrespectful."..he's "at a loss with how humanity has become and not sure how some people sleep at night. Please never come back to our establishment. ..You're not the kind of customer we want to welcome back." I have NEVER written a negative review of a rental, and have a positive track record for giving positive, gracious reviews. I do not recommend this place to fellow travelers.

the innkeeper was warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, the room was amazing, and the experience for even 1 night was incredible!! will be coming back :)
