We had a lovely warm welcome from Morag. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Morag shared with us local recommendations for eating out. Our morning started off with the most delicious Scottish breakfast. We would highly recommend a stay at The Hightae Inn.

Gretna Hall Hotel
The staff were all professional and friendly - the breakfast was really good. The whole stay was lovely and I had no issues. Will be staying again just because it was so lovely and breakfast was yummy.

Friars Carse Country House Hotel
Stay was ok for price paid however is dated and tired especially bathroom area, needs general maintenance, re grouting, paintwork etc. Breakfast was poor, basically cereal and toast, paid extra for cooked breakfast which was small and nothing special.
