Would stay again, great place.

We stayed here because we were attending a concert at Commonwealth Stadium. The beds were comfortable, newly renovated rooms, staff were welcoming and kind.

Windows have been leaking so many of the rooms are damp and smell musty. We were told not to leave luggage near the windows. Rain did come in during a big storm. Air conditioning was ok. We had it on high to air out the room, yet we were never cold. Staff were friendly and helpful. One of my kids forgot a toothbrush and they graciously provided us with one, as well as a mini toothpaste.

No parking in the property

We stayed at this hotel as it was close to where our event was. However, the parking garage is far from the elevator to the rooms. In the room itself, the bathroom was dirty, all corners of the bathroom and the floor were dirty (I cleaned hair bunnies under the sink from previous guests), the area around the drain plug on both the sink and the tub were filthy. It took me less than 1 minute to clean the sink and this should have been done before we took the room. I left the tub for the cleaner to do, so they could actually see the difference between filthy and clean. The shaving mirror in the room was broken. The blinds were old and didn't allow for blackout, and actually not safe (due to the chords) if we had been travelling with young children. Also, there were three of us in the room, and we received three keys, but each time the towels were replenished we only got two of everything. Lastly, the area where the hotel is is the path for many homeless and we almost didn't get out of the car when we arrived due to a fight between street people right in front of the hotel. There is a security guard INSIDE the hotel to supposedly stop them from coming in, but it was not a pleasant situation on arrival. Unless we absolutely had to, we would not stay at this hotel again.
