Staff were very friendly and the room itself was MASSIVE! It was like having our own 2 bed 2 bath apartment.

Most of the staff we met were very pleasant, but the checkin person was unhelpful. I was unhappy that the hefty “resort fee” had been hidden in fine print, adding significantly to the cost of the room. When I asked why we were being charged such a fee, the check-in clerk’s reply was “we charge everyone” — not a helpful answer. This encounter left a bad impression on me, and while I like to support Colonial Williamsburg, I won’t stay in one of their hotels again. I also think Expedia should alert customers to such hidden charges before reservations are made.

We had a great experience! The hotel was lovely, and everything was smooth and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!

Rooms are big, but not clean enough. Bathroom is not updated and looks deteriorated. Valet parking service is very slow. Location is good.

Easy check in, spacious room, convenient to Busch Gardens. Room smelled a little but it went away.
