No pool no heater , location is ok ,don’t let money in your room stealing

We were supposed to have a 3 bedroom but something had happened and rhey accommodated us different which is ok. However, the room we stayed at smelled like something had died. We opened up the windows and that helped some but I have no idea what that smell was.

I like so many reasons,it’s quite, clean and private rooms allow us to stay in one place and have a privacy

My experience fell well short of what I expect from a five-star hotel. While some staff were genuinely lovely, service was inconsistent, slow, and often required repeated follow-up. More seriously, I left my AirPods Pro in my room while hiking Machu Picchu, and they were gone when I returned. Find My showed them outside the hotel, and to their credit, staff accompanied me to try to locate them. Police became involved, and I ultimately spent close to four hours over two days searching and filing a police report — a significant amount of a three-night stay. What disappointed me most was management's response. Guest relations repeatedly told me management would do something, but at checkout, I was told nothing would be done because there was no concrete proof the AirPods were taken from the hotel. The response felt entirely dismissive. A handwritten note, or small gesture would have shown empathy. Problems happen; five-star service is defined by how they are handled. Inkaterra's service was nowhere near the standard I've experienced at St. Regis or Palacio del Inka in Cusco. Machu Picchu was magical; unfortunately, my experience with Inkaterra was not.

It was a budget hotel next to the airport. Rooms were really cold, and it took a while for the water to warm up. Friendly staff. Spartan room with older TV. Breakfast 7-9 am, checkout 10am. Both kind of early. Let us store bags on checkout day for free.

This stay took me by surprise. Originally booked at a passover to macchu picchu, the property could be a destination itself. It is walking distance from the town (uphill), and the train station (5 min). Absolutely gorgeous mountain view, gardens, and well kept in all regards. The restaurant onsite was open late and included breakfast and it was very delicious. They also had a very nice coffee and coca tea station. The room decor is a little outdated but honestly it added to the charm and cleanliness was fantastic.
