Good spot Nothing special Just solid

This is a lovely Victorian house filled with Victorian decor. Our bedroom was quaint and the bed very cozy. The gardens surrounding the house are lovely and the porch is a wonderful place to sit and relax. My only complaint is the breakfast. I expect bed-and-breakfast accommodations to offer proper home-cooked breakfast. Unfortunately this B&B offered no home cooked fresh food items. Everything is processed and wrapped in plastic including the coffee which are coffee pods and it didn’t seem like they recycled those. I felt like this was a chain motel that serves breakfast, which is really breakfast featuring processed items and maybe fake eggs. The only non-processed items are bananas and apples, but they were also wrapped in plastic. Plastic waste is a concern for me. I don’t understand why everything had to be wrapped in it including all bread items. All utensils are plastic and you can’t pick a spoon if that’s all you need you have to take the whole utensil package. I think they should have proper coffee cups, plates, and real utensils. I would like to recommend that that if they are going to use so much plastic that they subscribe to a service such as Ridwell, which will send them bags so that all the plastic film can be sent back to this company and they will recycle it.

Clean room, firm mattress, good overall value.

The, breakfast is all fake, filler,sausage and processed eggs, biscuits are real,pool,was excellent and room was, except at bedtime their was pubic hair, on my sheet and I'm clean,shaved...not mine, 😞😞 but for 95,threw Expedia it,is what it is... coffee ☕ was good 😊 had a banana and yogurt.

From the outside, honestly, I had my doubts as to why this hotel rated as well as it did. However, once you step through the doors, the lackluster exterior is forgotten. Inside, it's just like any other budget hotel chain, clean, welcoming and simple. The staff was really friendly and made check-in a breeze. My room was huge, it had a walk-in closet and a separate kitchen area, no kidding! Breakfast was served from 6am - 10 am every day and there was a different protein option each day that I was there. For a free breakfast, it was more than adequate and definitely did the trick, plenty of variety. This hotel may just be a hidden gem and is certainly a great deal. If I ever find myself needing to stay in Rantoul again, I'm definitely booking another stay here.
