This is the best kept secret for Bucknell parents… The interior is so much better than what it looks like from the outside and what you would sync it to be… The rooms have been completely renovated… They have little kitchenettes excellent beds… The owner is incredibly sweet

Clean, well furnished, lots of space, beautiful little town and area

Beautiful property, comfortable room. Great if you’re the kind of person who doesn’t want to talk to anyone, as there is no staff other than housekeeping and maintenance. This did make it feel a bit eerie for a pair of extroverts! We didn’t get to go to the restaurant since they’re closed on Sunday. Also while the decor was so cool, there were an unexpected number of sad Victorian orphans featured in our room’s decor. One of them was an over-the-door window, so it lit up when we turned the lights off. Also a bit eerie. But overall a very cool spot and Williamsport is really neat! Def check it out, esp if you like your privacy.

So, their hearts and ambition are in the right place. It has strong potential to be a beautiful historic hotel. However, they should not be open yet. I know they have to make money to continue their work on the renovation, but it is not ready to have customers. The room was not very clean. They took a 50.00 deposit ( refunded) for amenities, but there were no amenities. NOTHING. No restaurant, no mini bar, no extra towels, no working ceiling fan. Just not at all a positive experience, EXCEPT for the owners. They were lovely, and their excitement was contagious for their passion project, but it's not ready. There is a bar/restaurnat associated with the hotel, but the restaurant was not open. The bar opened later in the evening, and they sold appetizers. However, the bar was open until 4 am, and when it closed, there was a group of young people who were hanging out in front of the hotel and in the parking lot across the street just hanging out. Leaning on our car and being very loud. Sorry, it is a beautiful building, but please, its not ready. GOOD LUCK

When you first walk in it has a strong smell of old cigarettes. It smell like old body order. The kings bed had two twin bed mattresses that was way off from the head board. The beds are very old and very low. It wasnt worth my money as I traveled so far. My bill was way too much for over night. I give this place a zero.

This is certainly an OK place to stay if you don't mind waiting on yourself. There were no problems with anything, but the condition of the rooms suggest an extended stay facility mainly for construction workers. My main concern is that it was not advertised as such. I might have made a different decision if I had known. It was okay though. Check-in was fine. Clean towels were readily available.
