Absolutely loved our stay. The location gave you true Hawaii.

This is the definition of a 3 star hotel. If you're looking for Waikiki on a budget... stay here. Beds were comfortable. Room was sort of clean. They definitely have room to improve. A lot of dust in uncommon places. They forgot to clean our room on the day they were supposed to and then didn't change the sheets because we left a phone charger on the bed. Weird. The bell hop did not direct us, or help us with bags at arrival. The beach is quite a walk away. The pool was nice, but weird depths. They have a travel person at the front to help you book tours. Would have been nice to know beforehand. Not on the website. Front desk staff was great. Not as crowded as other hotels was a big plus. Close to shopping and food truck parks. Lanai was nice. Quiet at night. Would stay again

I stayed at Central YMCA Residences while transitioning into my new apartment and beginning a new chapter of my life here in Hawaii. From the very beginning, the staff made me feel welcomed and helped turn a big life change into a much easier experience. I especially want to recognize Christine. Every once in a while you meet someone who leaves an impression on you, and Christine was definitely that person for me. She was always kind, helpful, genuine, and had a way of making every interaction feel easy and comfortable. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she is gorgeous, so much so it is hard not to notice. Some people just naturally brighten your day, and Christine did exactly that. Thank you Christine, and thank you to everyone at Central YMCA Residences for making my first days in Hawaii something I’ll always remember.
