Overall an okay property and stay, especially for the price. Good location. Easy access from freeway. The walls are a little thin and we heard another guest in the next room snoring (earplugs were provided. lol). There was competition for the shared bathroom in the morning. The breakfast is more grab-n-go than continental. Breakfast items are not laid out except for the coffee. The room was nice and comfortable. The front walkway leading up to the house is a bit overgrown with weeds and plants making it difficult to navigate to the house with luggage going up steps. Safety issues there.

great hidden gem, central, good location, has an elevator that goes into whole foods for munchies. recommended.

One significant problem: only one elevator was working. There is no staff elevator and with a 12-story hotel, having just one working elevator meant long waits, especially in the mornings. We were there for a week, and the second elevator was not working when we checked in and still not working when we checked out. Also, the Andalusian Restaurant that the hotel runs was closed "for the season." We were there in July. I wonder when the season runs?

The casino

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel also has a pleasant little rooftop terrace for guests to use. The location was very convenient, with restaurants and a supermarket nearby, and the waterfront within easy reach. Overall, a good and enjoyable stay.
