I took my boyfriend to Chicago for his 50th birthday and the staff there was amazing. I had some things delivered to have put up in the room for a surprise and they went ahead and decorated the room for me so when my boyfriend walked in he was so shocked! The hotel is super clean and you can not beat the observation deck on the 27th floor. I can't wait to visit other Hotel RIU's throughout the country. Highly recommend!

Of course thr location is great for shopping and restaurants, and walks to the park, but are room was great with plenty of room. The staff at the hotel was fantastic.

The breakfast was really great and the property was well maintained. The sofa bed was decent but no extra blankets were provided.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, room had an amazing harbor view, and everything was clean and well tidy. Great location on the pier and we were able to walk downtown which was about a mile away.

We traveled with four kids. There was a noticeable lack of other children around. However the property was prepared to have them around. There was an entire play room with brand new puzzles and gently used toys to play with. The pool was usually fairly empty so my kids had fun there. The basketball court was generally empty as well. We got a lot of use out of all three spaces. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the coffee shop downstairs was a frequent stop as well.
