The photos looked great online and there were good reviews, but it looks nothing like online. The hotel reeked of smoke, pets are allowed- which is fine - but instead of blocking certain rooms they are allowed in any room. Nothing against pets, but if you have allergies to cats or dogs, don't stay here. The pool was so filthy. The water was green with funk, you could see dirt on the bottom floor and dead bugs floating all in it. It was not fit for an animal to swim in. Additionally, you can access the pool from the parking lot, so many people come to swim that aren't even guests at the hotel. I didn't get in after seeing the condition of the water. The hotel bar was rarely attended. I wanted to order breakfast (as advertised) one morning and no one was ever around so I ate down the street at Bite at the Box and it was so so good. Tried to get an appetizer at hotel and was told the microwave was broken and all of the food there is microwaved. Housekeeping is a joke. The trash can at the elevator was overflowing all 3 days i was there and the hotel staff is just completely uncaring about any of these things. Will never stay again. The star I gave is because it has good beach access. AVOID this hotel.

The resort was awesome! We only wished we were staying longer. The beds were firm but comfortable.
